ok, i looked at the diagram , and im a little lost on where and how the smfu connects to the fuel rail. can anyone help me clear that up?

also searching for SFMU in the turbo section will yield at least 104,024,543 results on how to hook up an SFMU to any year car.

yah i looked at that and i got 90% , but my fuel rail only has one port, the oem port and the schrader valve. so do i need to make a hole in the other side or get a diff fuel rail? or does it go into the shrader valve?

the test port on the fuel rail is where the line to the sfmu connects
you take the cap off of it, then remove the schrader valve inside

o, ok, so then it makes it an standard issue opening. k i get it now.thanx. how does the smfu work? does fuel go into the test port via the smfu ? or doe it read fp and put more fp on the retun line? tia

For future reference it's SFMU not smfu

It just adjusts fuel pressure based on manifold pressure, fuel is not supplied from the sfmu to the fuel rail. Pressure is increased across the rail when there is positive pressure in the manifold

Yea I ran into this problem too

I think its funny he corrects this guy for saying sfmu instead of SFMU but in his sig it is in lower case
