i have a 99 eclipse gs, my quetion is: does the lower end of the engine of a dodge neon 2000(year) fits my car?, the crank and everything.
im planning on rebuilding, but i only have one car so i plan on buying a lower end and rebuilding it, so that way i only have to pull out and put another piece right in.

The lower end is the same, crank and whatnot, but the pistons and rods are different. If you're rebuilding a motor that shouldn't be an issue anyway.
