Hey everybody. "new" to the forums but been hanging around as a guest for 2 years... Well i have a question. I searched on it but could not find an answer. So here it goes... I have a sfmu that I will be installing pretty soon, since the AN is 6 on the sfmu and the AN on the fuel rail is 4, could I use a 6AN to 4AN union to connect the fuel line to the fuel rail? or would this create some kind of problem with the fuel pressures??? It would go like this, fuel rail > 4AN/6AN > 6an fuel line > sfmu. TIA, , CJ

what i did is run 4an for the feed with a 6an reducer into the sfmu .then i used 6an for the return

same here, seems to be more common than a reducer at the rail and running -6an to sfmu

You could also buy the SFMU adapter assembly kit which converts both feed and return ports to -4 AN. So you won't need to worry about using any other reducers anywhere in your fuel system. Just a thought.
