Well I think I'm gonna have to cave and get a wideband. With my 30# accels I can't get a rough tune using my stupid lying nb02 I mean I'm running sfmu w/largest disk and dark spring w/no bleed valve b/c I don't want to run too lean and I'm getting a whopping 20mpg while throwing the code for running rich.

Back on track I want the zeitronix, but is it really worth the extra dough for the display? I can hook my laptop up to log and stuff so I figure once it's tuned I really don't need the display and can just keep an eye on my egts.

One other thing, just to double check, you can see on the laptop in real time you're afr and egt's (if hooked up) while doing runs correct?

If you've already got the gauges for boost and EGT, I wouldn't bother with the Zt-2 display. I have it, although not installed, and it's pretty slick. If you were to get it, you might be able to offset the price of the display unit by selling your current EGT and boost gauges. (Zt-2 requires additional electronic boost sensor sending unit, btw.)

The display is awesome if you ask me...don't have the additional boost sensor yet either, but works awesome otherwise. Helps consolidate for those who don't want 8,000 gauges in the car.

i use the display sometimes to get a idea of where im at when i dont have the laptop connected . its pretty hard to read while driving and it constantly changing . i mostly use the laptop . the display does look nice tho.

also you are correct . you can see real time a/f, etc. while doing runs with the laptop .

sweet just ordered it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to drop the money yet but when I saw it was processed through paypal and remembered I had money in my account I went for it. Ordered without the display, figured I can always get it later on if I want to.

Yep I love the display, I have it mounted above the steering wheel so it's really easy to read while I'm driving, good choice!

u can usually find the display on ebay for cheap . btw when u get it running you wont regret spending the money . its a great wideband

What I would like to know is, has anyone altered the code on it at all? I believe there is something on their site about changing the inputs to the unit to diaply IAT or whatnot if you don't want to use the defaults (or in my case, a boost signal), but since I bought mine second hand (un-installed, though) I don't know that I would warrant any support from them on the subject.

Any thoughts, anyone? :wary

wish i could get a wideband. I'm running rich beyond belief. I also have that stupid rich code (52 aka p0172). Been trying to get rid of it for a few months, but no dice. The smell is strong when I drive - drives me nuts.

yeah it's annoying me. I ordered a -6an return line for my sfmu too b/c I can't get my idle fp below 28-30 psi so hopefully the combination of the two will help a lot.

It's funny sometimes I feel like the car is bogging a bit b/c of so much fuel and other times it feels like it's just pulling so much harder at the same boost level, could just be my imagination though.

my car idles out sometimes while at a stop. So my motor is being drowned with fuel. I'm using 440cc injectors and I idle just fine at 15psi til recently.

I'm assuming you mean stalls out? When I first got my car back from having the head rebuilt, my car idled like crap and threw a code for the IAC motor, the code is gone now, but it still idles like shit. As soon as I get some time, I'll be able to diagnose if it is actually the IAC or just the fact that it's running pig rich at idle

bought the o2 sensor around the time I bought the block off you Ivan. So I just assume it's good. Bought it off oxygensensors.com. I'm trying to rule it out that it's the o2 sensor since it's fairly new, and would to waste money on another, but I'll take a looksy.
