9735, Bought Blitz TT need help finding good ground
Posted by DSMNT96, Nov-18-01 02:02 PM
I just bought the new Blitz TT. I installed it myself but I'm now having a problem with my electrical system. There were three wires that needed to be grounded and I grounded them right behind the panle that covers the shifter linkages on the driver's side. Now, ever since then, my electrical system has been acting a little weird. My radio turns itself off sometimes and my car starts up weird. Also my my loud inline fuel pump is making awkward sounds. Its not as loud as it used to be but its sound is definately not normal. Is there anyone here that can tell me where I can find a good ground and why my car is acting this way? I had both the battery and alternator checked and they are both fine like I thought but was just checked anyway. The TT reads the battery volts and they seem to be pretty good but vary day to day. Sometimes it will be 14.0 to 13.8 and sometimes it will be 13.2 to 13.7. So I dont know what the deal with that is either. Its getting colder here in MD so maybe that could be it. This my first winter with the turbo kit. Thanks and sorry for the long post.
