I think this has been waiting in along time. now we can measure accurately.... i guess. Also see where the opinions lie.

i went with hahn... i like having someong to call for support, and having positive pressure as soon as 2300-2500 rpms is a big bonus with an automatic ;)

I vote for Hahn!!!!!!! Its been proven to be the fastest kit out there!!!

Theres no way I could tell everyone to get the same kit everytime under every circumstance, much less a kit thats not out yet.
Anyway I'll vote for the Star since I have it and like it (I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who valued low end power, someone with no clue how to upgrade, someone who cant install a turbo themselves or someone who never plans to add/modify anything. I would recommend it to someone with no money to spare trying to get in the relm of turbo-ism, someone who wants a turbo capable of the most top end power from a given boost level, someone who doesn't want what everybody else has and someone who believes a cast iron manifold and garrett turbo are must haves). I dont recommend a stage 2 from anybody. You can still do a good front mount spearco or griffin for less than either stage 2.
And most importantly I dont give a rats ass what someone who has no experience with none or just one has to say about the other (notice my lack of Hahn references). Chances are they are happy with what they have and will vote for it as I did (except Dark One who has taken a liking to Bill Hahn haha). Only one who should be voting for NER is Shuan, I can read parts list all day and not know anything about durability, quality, fit and finish ect.
And finally I cant tell you how much I hate this f*ckin topic over and over again.

i know stan, i know... i've seen this topic since it was very first asked, but now i think better then ever we can get an actual count and more solid views on the kit.

I vote for STAR. Mainly because I agree with Stan, he couldn't of said it better.

just when i thought i had some things squared away, ner comes out with their setup...hahn uses a 16g, star uses a garret ?, and ner uses a t3-t4? 16g is the biggest right? garret the smallest? hence stan saying good low end. the t3/t4 according to ner still puts out 190 to 250. sounds good also doesnt it. I just like how hahn represents their goods. and everybody here keeps saying hahn. well I got a ways to go til i turbo, im just absorbing everyones inputs

wait a minute, misread your post, you wouldnt recommend it to anyone so the garret turbo is bigger than the 16g?

Just to clear up somethings. Star uses a t3/t4, hrc uses big(or super I can't remember) 16g(yes there is a difference between that and a regular 16g) or a 20g, NER uses t3 or t3/t4 if I remember correctly. The t3/t4 flows the most out of all of them right out of the box. The hrc would spool the fastest of them right out of the box because it's "smaller" than the t3/t4.
And I agree with Stan about this thread topic. It needs to be buried.

Sadly, some of us new people don't know this info. If you don't want to see it again, don't read the post.

It's not the asking about information that's bad it's the which one is better part. It always ends up being a big arguement. If you want info about a particular kit that's not a big deal ... it's just the "is this better than that?" questions. It's just TOO HEATED of a debate with too many very strong differing opinions. If you look it up in the archives (when they are working) you'll see this thread normally turns into.

I concur. Which is better is a very poor question. The proper question is which one matches what I want which is not definitive. It is ok to ask general knowledge about the turbo kit setups (search is preferred) but asking which is better is a question that will not really ever have a clear answer.

it was meant to ask which one was better. i should've made it HRC or Star or NER.... i just wanted to see peoples feelings on the kits... my apologies for not being more clear.
