I'm upgrading my whole ic setup. What do you guys recommend for an air filter off my turbo? K&N or some other like a greddy or hks filter? Where's the best place to get one ordered up? or store to walk in and buy one.

Thanks-

actually I feel it spool up faster with the cotton ones like K&N vs. the foam ones.

I have an AEM cone on mine that I got from ptuning. I ordered a little one so it fit in the engine bay a little bit better.

I have one of those ractive ones with the heat shield except without the shield on it so it's pretty small looking and fits good:

I'm going to see if I can get a cone to fit straight on the turbo rather than having a short section of pipe to suck through. Hopefully it will be easier by a small fraction for spool up...pry not. I'll try that fabric filter like mentioned.

Hey where do you get those little pcv breather filters at for the valve cover? I've looked without success. I don't think they should be too spendy.

Thanks-

I would spend the time and do some measurement, then go on K&N or Green filter web site to determine what you need.

As far as breather filters is concern, I vent mine in to a catch can. Don't want oil splatter all over.

I've heard that AEM's dry flow are abit better than K/&n's because you don't have wash/oil it.

I have an K&n on my Injen CAI full system is great.
Aems are like 40 at advance.

There's also cone filters by BLITZ.

You might wanna do more research, as for kn's you only pay 10 buck for the recharge kit which isn't bad.

If you have a T04B/E compressor side with the 2.75" inlet Ractive makes a sweet cone filter that fits on there perfect. not as small as that guys above, thats ridiculous ahaha but its a perfect size and only $30.
