Well depending on your fuel system setup(SFMU??), the stock pump will NOT work for boost very well, or not at all. I remembered trying the stock pump out with the SFMU, and pressure started to drop off even at 5 psi..Either dont boost it until you get the walboro, or just wait for the walboro.

yea i wouldnt boost at all unless you have a 255lph . a walbro 190lph wont even cut it

I even tried a gsx pump since it's a bit bigger than the stock pump but it couldn't flow enough for even 5psi, you're definetly gonna want to upgrade that pump

It's not really that you are abusing it, more so you have just reached the upper threshold of what it can support. I always ran my car with the 2ndary in-line pump. Yeah, the whiny pump noise was ever-present, but it turned heads at car meets and stuff b/c most people recognize when something doesn't sound right it's probably b/c it's fast or broken. You get used to the noise after awhile.
