Now, the flange is welded on the right side. when the turbo is on bolted to it, then the downpipe, the air conditioner is in the way,
I dont want to remove the air conditioner. I was wondering what I should do, I dont want to buy another manifold I paid 220 dollars for this one, i was thinking mount the turbo with hot side on the left. Thanks for the Help.

Remove the AC, all it does it rob power from you. Thats what windows are for.

If not, maybe mod up a different downpipe.

hmmmm...windows eh?:shrug ..I was thinking of taking it to a machine shop and having it cut and rewelded, this would put the angle on the mani back ass words..i dont think it matter.

Your downpipe is always going to be very close to your AC lines and compressor You have to bend the AC lines a little to get the HRC kit to fit. It isn't surprising that a generic manifold on E-bay would leave you in the same or worse position. You may have to sacrifice some of the ideal downpipe shape to make it fit. If you could take a picture of the downpipe curve as it bolts to the turbo, that would help some. And am I crazy or does the manifold in the e-bay ad put the turbo on the exact opposite side as yours?

no ur not nutss lol the link i got from ebay is what it should be...on the car domain u can make out the mani,the flange is on the left..

It looks like your flange for your turbo is welded to the wrong side on the manifold. When the manifold is on your car, the flange should be either in the middle or more to the right of it.

I would either contact the seller of the auction and tell him it was welded wrong and see if he can get you the right one, or have someone cut, remove, and reweld the flange in the right spot, but that would take a lot of work and cutting.

You have a Streetsource manifold for a 95-01 Dodge Neon. Sell it or return it.


The ebay link you posted is a Streetsource manifold for a 2GNT.


Both manifolds are of questionable quality.
