96775, lean under boost
Posted by 97esiboosted, Aug-16-06 04:16 PM
I have been searching for 2 weeks and nothing. So here is my problem.
First my setup, rewired walbro 255 310cc injectors and a fum with 10:1 disk running 90-95 lb with 10 lb of boost. OK at 80% throttle I'm good when i give it the rest it goes to lean and you can feel it go lean. It does not matter what rpm your at or gear your in. any help would be great.

I'm no expert, but shouldn't your fuel pressure be higher at 10 psi? Do you have a wideband, or just a blinky light gauge?

windband...90-95 lb of fuel with 32lb injectors should be plenty also its not a big turbo

i would say to turn up your fp a lil but you have a fmu not sfmu . so whatever it is now is how it has to stay . you cant adjust it . i dont think anybody had luck running a fmu with upgraded injecters

This problem just started 2 weeks ago it was running great. and it runs great for the first 5 min in the morning. But once it warms up i can not go more the 80% and if i do it pulls fuel?? i also just replaced the 02 sensor so i know it not that. About to replace the coolant temp sensor. then next will be the tps. :shrug

Are you sure your FCD/Mising Link is working?

This is why I use the search button.

I had pretty much had the same prob, everytime I tried to go WOT, the car would run really lean. I'm willing to bet its your fuel filter thats clogged up. Thats what fixed my problem. I could barley blow through my fuel filter with out my ears popping, lol.

Good Luck

no i doubt it, im thinking its that new oxygen sensor you plugged in. i'll be in town tonight though working on that prelude so lets hit the shop and ill weld that in for you. just wire up the controller and all that and we'll be ready to rock. you couldnt find a POS palm though could you? we really need to datalog these hogs and stop guessing lol
