alright well i have a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse, and i really want to put a nitrous kit on it, but this car has around 135k miles on it, the engine is all stock from what i know, and as far as i know there are no problems with the engine, i was thinking of running a 50 shot, what i want to know is if my car could handle that, i mean if there were no major problems with engine

Id be sure the car had no problems or leaks AND that it has gotten its second timing belt change. If everything is tiptop, I dont see why you'd have any troubles running a 50 shot

On a bone stock car I wouldn't push more than a 35. Anything 35+, IMO, you will need more air coming in as well as going out (i.e intake and exhaust). Goodluck!

I had a greddy header, testpipe, to a greddy evo catback in the exhaust category.

As far as intake is concerned I ran an AEM v2, 60mm Modern Performance TB, as well as a ported/polished intake manifold.


Toss in a Screamin Demon coil, Crane Firewire 8.5mm wires, a range colder plugs, and an AFX UDP and those where my mods when running a 75 shot.

I'd recommend nothing more than a 35 shot with your setup. But, it's your car, your money, and your fault if you blow something up.
