96572, Which bov for low boost ? Posted by ChloRure, Aug-01-06 05:58 PM
HI,
im planning running max 8 psi on my turbo setup and now im looking for the bov. I know some will not work right at low boost, im afraid of turbo surge and would like to know which one are you running at this boost level! I was thinking about the greddy type-s but the type-rs seam to be much easier to find.

I'm going to be going with the 1st gen eclipse BOV. My friend has one on his RS-T and he is very happy with it. He is only running 4-6 lbs right now.

ok and if I want a direct fit on hahn pipe I should use a 3000GT, greddy or turbo xs one right?

I've used my greddy type-s for 8 psi also and it worked and sounded awesome. I'm still using the type s at 20psi sounds a little bit awesomer, but works just as good. The RS doesn't have as much sound to it.
