I have a new oil pan that I need to drill and tap for the return line and I want to hear from you if its gonna work without getting it welded.

I'm thinking of placing this inside the drilled hole.

I'm gonna use JBWeld around the area then the bulkhead fitting will be secured and held with these nuts.

You have to pull it anyway and it is $20 tops to weld it. Weld it. And next time, put all your posts in one thread.

yea man definitly weld it. thats what i did and i used an ARC welder and it still holds up. make sure you weld it in the right spot. i didnt. i welded it to far to the left and ended up being right in front of the ac compressor. that one big problem i ran into.

I can weld it in the correct place for you if you can not find anyone in your area to do it. You can ship the pan and fitting to me along with the return shipping amount. I can weld it up the same day I get it and ship it back to you the next day.

Mine came bolted in the pan I got with the used Hahn kit. Works for me. I'll weld it if I ever need to.

I didnt weld mine, because I didnt have access to a welder. I dont have any leak problems......yet :p

I ended up having mine welded only because the Hahn instructions showed the hole placement right where the pan starts to curve. That worried me a bit so I just had some crazy guy down the street weld the provided fitting to the pan.

i have mine set up with those fittings and it doesnt leak but your still better off welding it .
