im about ready to install my turbo kit and ive got a 1g smic but im unsure how i wanna mount it/ run the piping so does anyone have a pic or could give me an idea of how they did theirs tia!!

Well I got a 2g smic... But here of some pics.

The circle on the first one isn't right, the circle should be on the hole with no bolt


I basically bent one of the mounts around until I got it lined up with this hole, got a long bolt and a bunch of washers and bolted in on.

4g63 smic of any year is too small to bother spending the time piping it IMO. At least get a starion fmic if you're going to go all junkyard wars.

Depending on the level of boost desired a 1g smic would work fine, obviously to a point. A supra smic is a great upgrade if you want to stay stealth with your install. With the price of fmic's on ebay you really cant say they cost to much any more.

well i got it for really cheap so i wanna use it plus im only gonna run 8 psi so it'll work for now. gs goin fast thanks but my intercooler is different cause the both pipes come off th the side its weird but thanks newayz.

^^^The pipe coming out the top of this pic I ran through the hole under my fuse box, I had to cut it out a little to make it fit.
The way I had it mounted the side you see was the back.

On the other pipe, the shorter one on the right in the pic, I had a cheap home depot bracket mounted to the bracket between the endtank and the inlet pipe and screwed that into the sheet metal that it lines up with when you mount it. That one bracket plus the ipes being clamped on was enough to hold it even though if you looked at it you woulda thought for sure it would fall.
