well seeing as how the MSD seems to be crapping out on everyone this month I suggest keeping that off for a while and resetting the ECU and see if it goes away after a plug wire/plug change

where is your msd located? i have read a lot of people with their msd box in the engine bay are having problems. i put mine under the passengers seat and so far good to go.

yeah seems like the excessive underhood temps just cook that MSD unit.
