PLEASE,SOMEBODY, HELP ME, BECAUSE HERE IN MY COUNTRY THERE IS NO MUCH INFO ABOUT THIS SUBJECT, IF SOMEONE INSTALLED ONE OF THOSE KITS OR KNOW WHERE CAN I FIND INFO, I WILL APRICIATE VERY MUCH!!1 THANKS. If this is a dry kit you don't and shouldn't mess with the fuel. Dry kits are nitrous only with no fuel mixed in the spray. All you need to do is run the feed line from your bottle to the engine bay. Then into the solenoid, and from the solenoid into the intake. You're biggest headache (if you can call it that) will be the electrical. I do believe that NOS includes electrical schematics with their kits though.

This is WRONG. There is NO nitrous kit that doesn't add fuel when the nitrous is sprayed. Wet kits add fuel themselves by getting fuel from a fuel source and metering it through a properly sized jet that is matched up to the nitrous shot you are running, and dry kits increase fuel pressure through vacuume lines to increase the amount of fuel being put into the engine.

As for the original poster, I'm sorry, I have not installed a dry kit on our cars. All I can do is point you to where the Fpr is. If you have an early 96, the fpr will be on the fuel rail behinde the head on the intake manifold. If you have a late 96 your fpr will be in the back of the car, just infront of the rear passanger side wheel under the car. Hope that helps a little.

Maybe I was unclear about my original post. I was under the impression that iceman was trying to feed both nitrous and fuel through one solenoid (which is a dry kit). I understand that the amount fuel needed would increase with increased air from the nitrous. However, the fuel system will compensate on its own (to a point) without having to upgrade. Yes fuel is added into the mix, but not at the jet. I was not aware that he was adding a safety switch as it was not posted in the original post.

YEAH, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE TO INSTALL A FUEL PRESSURE SAFETY SWITCH IN THE FUEL FILTER, AND A NOS FILTER IN THE VACUM LINE OF THE FUEL PRESURE REGULATOR, AND THE REST OF THE INSTALLATION, THE PART YOU MENCIONATED, I HOPE NOT TOO HAVE PROBLEMS WHIT IT

On the late 96, the fuel filter is back by the fpr. I am not quite sure where it is on the early 96, but I would guess its near the same place. Maybe someone with a early fuel system can tell you.

ANOTHER THING, IF SOMEONE KNOWS WHERE CAN I INSTALL THE BOTTLE, ANY IDEAS, THERE IS NO ROOM IN THE TRUNK

96s and above have returnless fuel systems. Unless you have a 95', you'll need a wet nitrous setup. Also the fuel filter for 95s are on the lower firewall under the washer fluid reservoir.

Well, get another (fuel) solenoid and a wet jet and cut into the fuel line, or use the test port on the rail. I would suggest the test port as I'm having some minor issues with leaks since I didn't listen to Dino and cut into the line.

On the '95 it's on top of the rail to the left end of the rail. Can't speak for any other year, but I don't see any reason why it would be different

No, you NEED a WET kit, use the test port to provide fuel to the fuel solenoid.

Oh shit Dino is right, I completely forgot about that. hehe its been a while since I was into that nitrous stuff

you cannot install a dry kit because of the way the fuel pressure regulator works.

There is no way to increase the fuel pressure on a 96+.

Look at the ZEX website. It sells its wet kits for 96+ and the dry kit for 95.

well the only parts youll need in a "conversion kit" are these.

1- fuel solenoid
1- 2'-3' 4an line to run from test port to fuel solenoid
1- 3' 4an line to run from fuel solenoid to nozel
1- wet setup nozel
1- package of assorted fuel jets

also youll need a schrader valve core remover (like used on tire valves stems) in order for you to be able to use your test port for fuel.

a lot of people install the bottle on that brace right behind the rear seat.

On dsmtuners.com there is a tech article on how to install a zex wet kit on a 420a. it walks your through step by step including bottle installation

I bought a dry venom kit off of some guy from ebay for cheap. I never installed it but when I was looking up info I called venom and spoke to their installation tech and he told me that since the venom kits are computer controlled it doesn't matter if it's a dry kit. They told me that all venom kits are dry and they have no problem installing them on 96-99 2G's.
