Can someone tell me the sizes and how many peices you used to make a 2.5 downpipe. I figured 2.5 would be easier than 3in and I would rather save the money and buy the peices and have them welded.

I used a 2.5" mandral U-Bend, which had pretty long ends on it, and just cut and welded that to my liking.

What was the total size of the u-bend and where did you get it?

You might be able to stop by a local muffler shop to pick some up. Some shops will sell it you. If not, you could get them from www.Summitracing.com

I used: 1 90 bend, 1 flex joint section, about a two foot straight pipe & 2 flanges (unless you're going to use clamps).

I'm terribly sorry, I only made half a downpipe and I completely forgot lol. You will need more then just 1 U-Bend to go all the way to the cat. But I got my pipes from summitracing I believe.

Could I use the same peices but 3in or would it be allot harder to fit?

Will you be using the 's' downpipe piece that came with the HRC kit (according to your sig)? It will be a little easier to do a 3" dp that connects to the HRC piece. Just get a transition to 3". If you're going to fabricate a 3" dp beginning at the turbo exhaust side, then that will be a bit tricky. You'll need to find the right bend piece -- probably a "donut" pipe & match it up to a partial 'j' bend. I thought about making one just for kicks, but I didn't have enough 3" bends laying around.

Kon i just picked up some stainless from IPS motorsports locally, I'm sure they will give you a good deal. I'm making my dp for pretty cheap and having it tig'd in their shop. A 3" flex ran me 30 bucks, 3" flange for my n1 was 9 bucks and i paid 60 bucks for 2 45* bends and a 90* bend and about 4 ft of piping. I bought 2 45* bends b/c thats pretty much what my star downpipe was made with, if i'll actually need them is still to be seen. My only piece left is a 3" v-band kit from AGP.
