94312, stainless line to stock fuel rail possible? Posted by Dan Zeller, Mar-31-06 12:07 PM
In the write up in the FAQ section they use a motofool rail. Can we somehow hook up a stainless steel fuel feed line to our stock rail?

Thats incredibly descriptive. Care to give the guy a few clues as to what all went into that nice looking piece?

ya thats sweet, how did you do that exactly? did you cut off the existing tube etc, and then drill and tap the ends?

looks to me like the ends were cut, and weld-on -an fittings were welded in.

Heyyyy that looks like my rail Dan!
Well. I cut the old hardline on the bottom off and then threaded the hole and put an allen head screw to plug it. Then I took the FPR out of one end of the rail (95 rail) and then cut the snap ring flange off the rail. I then cleaned the cut area and soldered, using 95/5 solder, a steel -6 AN adapter to the rail. The other end is solid so I drilled and tapped that end for an -6AN adapter.
that it
