Would it be alright to connect the vacuum source on the SFMU to the vacuum nipple on top of the throttle body? The vacuum source on the SFMU is used to see boost and raise fuel when it sees boost. So wouldnt this be a good location for the SFMU to see boost at? Plus since my SFMU is mounted right next to my throttle body it would be a short vacuum line with a quick response. Has anyone done this? Thoughts>>?

Exactly what he said ^^ I have mine connected to one of those 3 at the back of the intake manifold. I would go with one of those and its probably only like a foot more of vacume tubing. Also if you have your EGR valve still connected watch out for the pipe that connects back there. Make sure you vacume tubing isn't touching it because that pipe gets hot and can melt through the vacume tubing.

Any where on the intake is fine but from experience I found it to be easier to do it to one of the three lines that attach to the intake manifold.

I used the one of 3-point vacuum nipples too. Also use a vacuum restrictor or a welding tip to restrict and smooth out the vacuum signal between the throttle plenum and the SFMU.

The BOV should also have its own vacuum nipple on the plenum, the center larger one if possible.

All the rest of the vacuum accessories should be teed off the 3rd nipple.

Why should the BOV have its own vac source? I have my SFMU and wastegate with their own source and BOV and boost gauge T'd together.

In my experience, it decreased flutter and generally felt more responsive. Using silicone instead of rubber helped too.

dont use the nip. on the tb. the fmu, bov, and wastegate shold not be on a tee. my sfmu is by the fuel filter. i ran a steel brake line to it for vac/boost. the wastegate should not be hooked to th im. it shold come from the intercooler plumbing. cause you may get more than your preset boost in the pipes while you are still in vac. in the im.

hmm just wondering. im hookin up my bov, sfmu, and boost gauge to the 3 point nipple on the back of intake manifold. each one is T'd off on each nipple. would that be ok?

just do what i did
drill and tap your manifold so each part has its own line

you can put a staight barb where the 3 nipple thing is on the manifold then hook up a vac manifold
