today my check engine light came on, but i was going to check it out later but after i put has 1 hr later it went away? my gas tank as not low i could have gone another 50-60 miles yet ... anyone know what happen here? also i still got the stock hrc fpr if i want to put in 380cc or 440cc injectors is there a knob i adjust to work with this to change from 12:1 to 4:1 or is it 3:1 for 440cc? also i will get a super afc maybe unless hrc comes out with there fuel system for stage 3 soon... i want to run 15-18psi later? what do you think also if u have a msd dis2 could u post the color wires on our 97+ to tap into i have no clue thanks Michael 99gs-t'd hrc stage 2 =)

Please don't put in bigger injectors and start messing with the fuel system until you know exactly what you need to do. A good fuel system is extremely important here. Please read this page I made up a while back (not all of it applies, but its a start). http://www.geocities.com/vttalon/foolafc.html That will give you a little background on injectors and fuel pressure. The HRC FPR is not as flexible as a FPR with calibration disks (the bleed valve is only for fine tuning). You'll want a FPR with calibration disks to use 380's or 440's (read Vortech). Then you can do the fine tuning with a S-AFC.

Using these constants:
BSFC=.525 (good estimate for our engine) Duty Cycle=.85 (85% is pretty safe) Injectors are rated at 43.5 psi fuel pressure
For 6 psi or 215hp, you need about 338 cc/min of fuel (per injector). A 351 cc/min injector will do that nicely at 43 psi fuel pressure.
For 9 psi or 270 hp, you need about 374 cc/min of fuel (per injector). A 441 cc/min injector will do that at 43 psi fuel pressure.
For higher boost, you'll have to come up with power estimates and calculate an injector size. BTW, my calcs for 6 and 9 psi match what is actually supplied with a stage II kit. Once you pick an injector and what fuel pressures you want to run it at, then you can pick a calibration disk for the FPR.
