Posted by Corbin, Nov-13-01 03:04 PM It is unlikely that any common in-tank replacement pump will be able to supply adequate fuel for 9 psi boost at 110 psi of fuel pressure. Most of those pumps are built to flow alot of fuel, but at lower pressures-like 70 psi and below. If you have big injectors and can run lower fuel pressures this is fine. If you have stock injectors and run high fuel pressures, you'll have to be careful. I wouldn't buy any pump until you saw the pump characteristic curve. Like this: | |

Posted by Avenger EST with NOS, Nov-14-01 05:12 AM the vr-4 pump is substantially bigger than the stock 2gnt pump, and will take customizations to fit......at all. plus, I think that is one fo the weaker pumps availale in that size (as is everything abotu the vr-4 fuel system). the supra, or the japanese masda cozmo pump(relabled my such companies as HKS) flo wmuch more, and will be closer to what you need, but I dont' think either will support the crazey pressures needed to squirt enough gas through 235 cc injectors. | |

I remember seeing someone said he has 440cc, and the idle was bad even with SAFC lean out 50%. is there any solution? | |
