Alright, someone told me that it is better to mount your BOV on the piping right out of the turbo, this way when it goes off, the releases the air immediately. It seems to make sense. Although I have never seen it done before. Is it better to do this?

On the SRT4 I think the bypass valve is mounted on the compressor housing.

I honestly doubt you would notice a difference no matter where it was located, whether on the compressor housing, on the intake pipe, right before the throttle body...

My reasoning behind this is that the pressure is the same throughout, if not greater right at the throttle plate once it closes (I have no data to back this up, but I have never seen anything to believe otherwise). As soon as that bov/cbv opens up, the air will 'want' to rush out of there just the same, no matter the location.

And WRX's have it mounted on the intercooler. In all honesty it can be anywhere in the intercooler piping, preferably on the cold side.
