I tried to fire up the GS-T this morning since its only -4 and it took along time. When I did get it fired up though it started poping a little (like detonation) so I turned it off right away. It has never done this before and I've drove it in -20 weather once (it was fine).

Any suggestions? is it just tuning?

Is that the one with MS? Probably just running a bit rich.

Yes its the GS-T. That is what I thought, I will connect the computer today and have a look. The car is barely firing up though.

Detonation doesn't "pop".

As well, detonation at idle is something that you'll never see ouside of very special circumstances, and all of them are induced through tuning, usually on purpose.

Well it happened becuase the ECU was reset. My frickin dad unhooked the battery. Argh.

I'm going to need Doug to send me the preset files. Phyuck.

At least your fuckin dad didn't install your battery backwards and slag half the electrical system... :wallbash

Well the car was backfiring a lot but it also sounded like rocks shaking in a pop can... I've got the preset from Doug so hopefully I can throw it back on the ECU. I know the timing is very off at the moment.

Unhooking the battery won't wipe anything from the MS.

That is very strange beacuse before unhooking the battery everything was fine. Now it just does not want to start...

I was told it sounds like marbles in your motor, luckily I've never heard it in person.

I tuned it. YES! It works again. :D
