I have never even used one and I have been turbo'd for nearly 3 years. They always end up blowing out...

You don't use a gasket from the turbo to the downpipe? Doesn't it leak?

It depends if the surfaces are flat or not.

the first one i made out of that paper gasket maker . well that turned to dust lol so then i just cut one out of a piece of sheet metal from home depot . its been good ever since . or you can buy a gasket already made from the same sheet metal from rre
