I redid my wires like it said in the manual..with just one hose going to the boostport on the wastegate, and one to the comressor housing..but now i cant boost over .4 bar...where as before I could get to 1.6 bar..but never past that...any suggestions?

send it back and get the profec B..with all that money you will save you can get that button from low and high boost to mount on the steering wheel. =))

Is this the way you hooked it up????? Mine is like this and works perfect!

Hook it up like this: Run a vacuum line from the Compressor Houseing on the turbo to the "NO" port on the AVC-R boost controller unit. Then Run another vacuum line from the "COM" port on the AVC-R to the "boost" port on the Wastegate (it's the side port on the wastegate). The "NC" port should be vented to open air on the AVC-R boost controller unit, and the "Vacuum" port on the wastegate should be vented to the open air also. I think this is your problem. re-do your vacuum lines like this and let me know if it works

Thats how I did it..so today I went back to my original setup with the vacuum port on the wastegate runing to the COM port on the avc-r, and the boostport on the wastegate runing into a T with the compressor housing line...and running to the NO port......

But today after redoing that..i set it on 1.0 bar..and I hate 1.5 bar..so i fixed my not enough boost problem..but now im getting to much...

Ha, well thats a good problem to have though. Hitting 25psi on racegas is a rush, huh mark? I'd like to get my car back on the road to see how she likes these cold air temps. I bought another windshield wiper fluid pump. I am gonna run the hose off of it to a nozzle so it sprays mist on the FMIC, then I am gonna run a switch to the cockpit so I can hit it while I'm racing. Think it'll add lower intake temps? I'll report back in a few weeks.
