even though i sold my eclipse i just got my turbo kit for my del sol. but i am having trouble with the oil feed line fittings. i have the T and the block to feed it then i have the fittings on the turbo itself which consists of a T (one side to turbo , one to oil pressure gauge and other side to a needle valve to adjust the oil pressure the turbo sees, the problem is the needle valve will screw into the T but the end of the needle valve that the feed line is supposed to attach to is a compression fitting. i went to 4 diff places and no one has an adapter from a compression fitting to a -3 stainless line, so i do have the nylon tubing that the compression fittings are supposed to use, its like the same width as the stainless line and says it hold up to 168 PSI of pressure and can be used with oils and water but has anyone used this before ? my oil pressure gauge came with a smaller version of it and that seems to be ok , so would it be ok for a feed line too? cause kit is goin on sat and no place around has an adapter for the stainless line.

yea i think you could use that tubing no problem. It shouldn't see more than 70 psi or so

ha . cause it used to be all motor . but then i missed turbo so its not anymore.. how hot does the oil get? will it melt that line do u think ?

Don't use nylon tubing for the oil... that shit gets hot. I wouldn't trust it.

^^ what he said. Try a hydrolic hose place or a semi truck/heavy equipment repair shop. They will have more fittings than 99% of the autoparts stores. I wouln't imagine that it would cost more than 40$ to have a stainless wrapped hi-pressure line made with the fittings on it already.

Careful with the flare fittings on hydraulic lines if you use them... They commonly come in 45* which won't seal against AN fittings (37* flare).

I recommend only using braided SS line or flared tubing for your turbo's oil lines. Although, I see people use high temp rubber lines, they ALWAYS end up cracking.
