Alright, ill try to make this short, someone stripped the stock oil sending unit bot in the back of the block, cant get it off, tried everything. Now does anyone know of any other spots i could get a feed from? Whats the next best solution, thanks

If you look to the right of the knock sensor righ ton the oil valley, there might be a 1/4npt plug. some blocks had them some did not. i think it wa 95 that had them. you can use that. otherwise get a set of channel locks or vise grips and dig that damn sensor out and put in a new one.

try clamping that sucker down HARD with vice grips, you will have many failed attempts but it will come off.

My 98 eclipse had that 1/4 inch bolt next to the knock sensor when i was installing my turbo kit i decided i was gonna use it instead however as i loosened that bolt (and im not sure if its the same one your talking about but its right there) but as i loosened it i got hot coolant right in my eye lol.. for some reason its a tap for coolant? only tap i know of in my 420a is the oil sender unit. gotta figure a way to get that thing out. pull motor and rebuild, it'll be alot easier while its out to fix

That's a coolant plug.

Yea, Ive known thats a coolant plug for a long time, I did the same, except just caught cold coolant in my mouth, my eyes were safe. Ya know it actually tastes kinda sweet? lol, ill try and get that plug

couldnt you just get one of those sandwich style oil filter adapters like come in the universal oil cooler kits and use the taps there

You've never smelled burning coolant before?lol. very sweet. My cavy blew a hose and sprayed coolant on the exhaust mani, there was so much coolant smoke in the air I could taste it. just had to say that.

coolant + liver = puddy

Could i get one of those custom oil cooling kits and tap in it from there? There is enough pressure right?

i would get the sandwich adapter and only use it to supply the turbo
not a cooler also

if it has enough pressure to keep oil flowing through a radiator it should be enough to flow around a turbo

to be on the safe side though do you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge

you could T into the sandwich adapter and install your sending unit there
