!@#!@#!
During my attempt in installing the FMIC, the stupid bolt holding the hood latch beam to the frame broke!#@ And what's worst, it's welded to the frame!

@!#$@#$ How the heck do I move the power steering away from the FMIC now??? It was supposed to go behind the hood latch beam.

arggggh
Now I gotta drill the bolt out..
:(

DAMN. That SUCKS.

Leon, seems like you and i have been doomed from the start :-) We've both had so many problems doing this install and having it operate properly afterwards. Maybe we should start taking bets on who's motor is going to blow up first! it's just our luck, right ? :-)

Well, I surely hope my engine lasts long... :o
Don't want a 'forced' rebuild just yet...

just pry on it till the weld snaps. I had to bust the weld on mine in order to get it behind the core support bracket. You will have to drill that bolt out though, because you are going to need it to hold the bracket back on.

I got a dremel and starting shaving away at the weld. And then I used my anger and frustration and forced it off. Yay!

Also, the bolt just screwed out with the drill. PHEW. good thing it wasn't rusted on, else I'd still be drilling!
