92381, Choosing a FMU
Posted by eclipserider3, Dec-28-05 03:34 AM
Hi i have a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse rs. I installed:
Hahn stage two system w/ upgraded intercooler
440 cc Accel injectors
SAFC
Walbro 255 pump
BEGI regulator
Super 16G turbo w/ exhaust manifold.

Now i was wondering someone told me that if you put bigger injectors that it will max out the BEGI regulator and make it flood. Say i was going to change the regulator What regulator should i go with and if so what ratio: 10:1, 12:1 etc.

zero out the safc and run a 5:1 disc in a vortech sfmu with those 440's

Assuming your only boosting 7 psi idle FP should be at around 25psi, static at 35 and WOT 70 psi of fuel pressure.

EDIT: I'm assuming you haven't been boosting yet........right? Cause if you are you'll be running LEAN dude or missing like a mofo. You have no raise in FP at all.

So yeah, like he said, you want the Vortech SFMU. It's available at Summit Racing for $299. Part# VOR-6X100-001
