sup guys? looks like i am rebuilding my engine, and i can get me some turbo parts for cheap. i know that the stock pistons on our cars are garbage when it comes to boosting, so could 2g 4g63 pistons be fabricated to fit our rods? i don't plan on boosting a LOT so i don't really think i would need forged internals right now. tell me what you all think. thanks.

you say that you dont plan on boosting a lot. with an intercooler our stock internals are ok up until 8psi as long as your compression is ok. after going through all the trouble and expense to take the engine out, trying to make the 4G pistons works and then reinstall you might as well either leave it stock and drive it until something goes and then rebuild or do it right the first time and rebuild with the correct pistons.

i boosted for a year on stock internals with no problems on a stage 1 hahn kit. i only rebuilt because i decided to go with more boost

my engine is allready apart. it had rod knock, so i took it apart to get it bored over. i was just wondering since i can get me some .20 over size 4g pistons for the same price as the 420a.

No. If you only want to boost less than 10 ppi just get stock internals .020 over

If you want more boost get some je's.

Why don't you try for some Big Block Chevy pistons while you're at it? You can buy *8* of them for the same price as *4* of ours! WOW!
