92153, Arp head bolts same for 420a and 4g63? Posted by l6u9k6e9, Dec-17-05 04:47 PM
Hey, i have a guy trying to sell me arp headbolts and he said that they will fit both the 420a and 4g63. Here is the email.
"These are left over from a build we did several months ago. They were ordered for a 420 turbo build up. I contacted ARP direct & spoke with their tech support. I was told by their tech that they will work for both. The part # 207-4203 which is a 4g63 application. I also questioned using them in both, But I am sure that someone from ARP is smarter than me."
Is this true?

Now, I can't say this for sure, but I'm gonna go with no on this one.
I looked at ARP's site, and the part number for the 4g63 is 207-5401. The part number for the Dodge Neon SOHC/DOHC is 141-5801.
This info was taken from the site:

I'd call ARP myself, but have this information in hand so they can explain it to you if they are in fact the same.

Nope. Not even after myself and Old Mitsu Tech said the same thing. If Mitsu uses two different sizes of studs on the 4G63 based on the main, why would it be the same as the 420A, which is made by Dodge.
Common sense. I miss it. :(
