92044, s16g oil lines install Posted by l6u9k6e9, Dec-12-05 01:32 PM
Hey i searched around and i could not find a write up or a post on how and where to hook up the oil lines from the turbo to the car. I know about the return line and tapping the oil pan. Im looking for on how to feed the turbo.Ive read about some stuff on "how to build a turbo kit for under 1000" but it did not go into detail..anyone?

the feed line is easy . tee it of the oil pressure sending unit on the back of the block (drivers side) . run 4an line from there to the inlet on the turbo . you can buy the fittings at home depot . you need a female 3/8'' tee , a male 3/8 coupler and a male 3/8 to 4an fitting . the male 3/8 coupler go's into 1 side of the tee that screws into the block . the opsu go into another side of the tee and the 3/8 to 4an go's on the other side to the 4an ss line . remember to use teflon paste on npt fittings . if you are hooking up a electric oil pressure gauge too you need 1 more tee ,a male coupler and a male 3/8 to female 1/8 .thats the way i have it in the picture . i hope this helps .
