So im still have problem with my fuel pressure. I hooked up the fuel gauge, and at idle its at 57-59 psi. Went for a drive, it didnt change at all. I took apart my fmu last week and it looked fine, hooked it back up and everything. I did what star turbo told me to do, and pinched the return line from the fmu and that made my fuel pressure go past 100. Wouldnt that mean my fuel pump is workin, its a wallbro by the way and I can still hear the thing whine loud. If I boost I get lean readings on the a/f gauge so I havent been boosting since this happened. What else could it be? Maybe I overlooked something.

maybe a leak in your vac line run to the fmu, is it hooked up directly to your manifold, if not where is it hooked up to?

Yea it is, I looked over the line but I will again since I have to go under there anyway today.

It doesn't seem like it is your fuel pump and your idle fp if anything is actually a bit on the high side. If the diagphram looked ok and the vac line looks ok, the next thing i would do is double check to make sure that the fmu is hooked up correctly

when i had the fmu my fp was 57psi at idle so that is about right. the fmu always ran really rich . thats one reason i changed to the sfmu . if it not rising tho you might have hooked it up wrong . it goes stock fpr to the side of fmu then bottom of the fmu to tank .

Yep. thats how i have it. It did work and then just seemed to stop one day when it got cold. I dont know if that had anything to do with it. I also seem to run rich.

maybe the fuel filter or stock fpr went

Fuel filter is also new..sigh. The stock fpr could be tho, I did take it apart once, they known for going bad?

i dought it is the stock fpr. your idle fp is still good. sounds your not getting vac/pressure to your fmu. of your fmu just went bad. good time to go with a sfmu setup imo. or megasquirt

Okay, why do you have a stock fpr running with the fmu? Unless 96+ is different? :shrug

I believe everyone with 96+ with fmu keeps stock fpr. Only when u go to sfmu, do you take it out.

Question, could the rubber vacuum line for fmu be expanded, therefore not raising the fuel pressure in boost. Im still trying to firugre this out.
