Does anyone have that (FUEL CUT DEFENDER)??? Is it mandatory when you have a star stage 2 turbo kit or is it optional???

95's don't need it. Thier ECU won't read any boost. 96+ must have it, because thier ECU freaks out at any MAP sensor voltage over 4.7v

It's not a 95, so yes you will have to get one if you want to turbocharge your car.
Any turbo kit you buy for a 96 or higher will have a fuel cut defenser. (or VC1, or FCD, or whatever..)
