you shouldn't have to, if you get the sfmu adapter assembly from vortech it replaces the fittings that come on the sfmu, but you can probably just get reducers that go from the standard sfmu fittings right to -4an without putting in a -6an line i'm wasn't too sure about all the fittings and sizes so i just spent the little extra money and got everything in that diagram

before you go to vortech and buy over priced fittings......to change a fitting in the SFMU:

Buy a 4an/6an reducer. On the 6an side, grind the taper off with a file or bench grinder. Buy a 6an o-ring and screw the fitting into the sfmu. Save 10.00 last i checked.

That is the worst drawing I have seen......dont drink and draw.

thanx but can i use 4an niteous line for the return cuz its a lot cheaper .is it the same ss hose.i got all the fittings i need .all aeroquip with aeroquip ss hose for the supply line . btw i didnt drink and draw , i smoked and drew . lol .

nitrous line is just tephlon stainless braided. yes you can use it, the reason it is made is because the tephlon withstands much higher pressures.
