i went to drive the car today and got about a block away .my air/fuel read 10.00 . the filter fell out of the missing link .i put a new one . start it up and engine is studderin like crazy like it wants too stall . it also had a wierd smell .i got a lot of engine codes
300-multible misfire,302-cyl.2misfire,303cyl.3 and bank 1 too rich . what do you think the problem is . i hope i didnt blow my motor . my compression was good about a week ago when i last checked it . i gonna recheck it tomm. would a bad map sensor do that ? because the only think i noticed visibly is the filter falling out . any help would be greatly appreaciated

Clean the ML and fix the filter. Reset the ecu and start it up again and see what happens.

i cleaned it and reset it . still does it . i did notice the white plastic piece inside of it fell out when i took it off . i dont remeber it being like that . i also took off the missing link and ran just the map sensor . problem still there at idle . i didnt drive the car though cuz it was misfiring pretty bad maybe even worse than when i had the missing link on .also what wire do i hook up to the voltmeter to test the map sensor.

Sorry for bringing old post back from dead, I used the search and found this post. Im having some of the same problems as in this post, Misfiring while cruising and my wideband read 10.00 while cruising Periodically. I have a fcd, sfmu.

Did you ever fix the problem boosted60trimrst ?

I don't think he is on here much anymore since he parted out his car last year.
