89991, My Fuel System Setup, sound good? Posted by ProjectTalon420A, Sep-26-05 08:43 AM
I am installing my turbo kit this weekend and I'm running 7PSI daily driven with a fully built motor. I am gonna use a Vortech FMU and a Walbro 255, I bought a TON of Vacuum and Fuel Injector line and a few tee's. Am I missing anything? I've searched all over for simple directions on the FMU, I have a '95, the ones I found were for 97, I just need a damn paint shop drawing!!! Thanks!

I dont have a paint shop drawing but here is what i can tell you.
The return line from your regulator is clamped on to the end of your fuel rail right by the fuel feed line. you want to run a length of fuel injection hose from that barbed fitting to the side port of the FMU. Now take the center/bottom port of the FMU and run a length of hose to the return line that goes to the fuel tank.
for your vacuum, run a vacuum hose to any vacuum port on the intake. Try not to run the vacuum hose to another hose with a "t". By runnign a vacuum line straight to the intake you will have a much more responsive vacuum signal.
Sound clear?
