i have a missing link the one with the pinhole filter on the side . the problem is every once in a while i still get a fuel cut . like the only time is once in a while if i just slightly hold the peddle down ,about 1/4 of the way down . after about 6 seconds of holding the pedal 1/4 of the way down i get a fuel cut.only when not boosting . does anybody know why this is happening ? missing link is clean too

give more info on the fuel mgnt. your using.

im using vortech fmu . my fuel pressure is good so is my a/f .

anyone have any ideas . maybe bad map sensor ?

Sounds like misfire, not fuel cut.

wouldnt misfires throw a code though

Likely not. Try new plugs and wires too if you haven't replaced them recently.

Some people's ECU's are insanely sensitive, with my old setup I went through 2 missing links and 3 voltage clamps and never could fix it entirely. Eventually it was manageable, but there was always a small glitch right around 0 psi.

yea its the ecu...i initially thought it was my bov, then tried replacing the missing link, then replaced a few other things and nothing seemed to fix it. Just get used to it cuz its there to stay.

Good luck with it... The best band-aid fix I could find was setting the clamp to around 4.3-4.4 volts which gives it an room for error. This will make the mixture a tad leaner if you are running with the stock ECU, but you can always adjust for it with an FPR.

do you thing the pump rewire mod would help any ? i currently have the walbro intank with stock harness connected

today i was driving getting alot of fuel cuts and then bam .my air/fuel went down to 10.00 and stay there and i had no power . i also heard a hissing sound in the engine bay . got home and looked .the filter came out of the ml . i put a new one but didnt drive it yet .do you think thats the only problem

All my fuel cut problems went away went I took the missing link off. I run an S-afc though. I also try the voltage clamp, didn't work.
