Just wondering how hard is it to read all the digital inputs while driving? Also, where did you put the display at? I wanna get this thing and sell my EGT/ Boost gauge and use some of that money for it, but if I can't really read the display clearly and accurately as the analog gauges then it wouldn't be worth it. Thanks.

Hahah, I was about to make a post almost identical to this :D

I just ordered a new black anodized one from Zeitronix two days ago, coming from SoCal, will be here Monday. I've heard they are easy to read, and look nice in the car too.

I'm selling my tripple pillar and my boost/nb02/egt gauges (picked up a fast probe off eBay, will keep this probe to plug into the Zeitronix Zt-2 controller). I still gotta pick up a 3 bar boost sensor from eBay (same ones, AEM brand, sell for cheaper than Zeitronix has them).

I'll be mounting mine ontop of the steering colum, probably w/ some dual-loc 3M velcro.

I wonder if the analog output (the one to go to your standalone) outputs the boost & egt too.

I was just looking into the zeitronix myself. Maybe on of you can do a write up with pics of everything needed and install. I will host it for you.

Would really help me out, and probably many others on this board.

The numbers are WAY TOO Small and bounce too much. It's better to use it with a laptop than relying on the display only. I'm speaking from personal experience here. Trust me when I say they change to fast when doing a pull, looking at the road infront, and doing the readings. That's why I went sold mine and went with an AEM UEGO. The display is much clearer, and the digits way easier to read.

I'm the one who actually bought it and just giving an honest review. It works great since it does what it is supposed to do, and is expandable, but it just way too small for me and the numbers are too bouncy to really tell when you are on it full throttle. The numbers are a quarter on an inch so it's small. It great that it's expandable, but the whole display needs to be revamp.

I mounted it on my gauge cluster on top of my steering wheel.

Edit: having multiple imputs to log is great if you have a LAPTOP to compare a run and seeing boost, egt, and o2 readings ON A LINe-GRAPH.

Edit: it also logs RPMS TOO. But an all in one replacement for egt, and boost it is not. At least for me!

It is for me! But then again I have my carputer screen molded in so its easy for me to see all the inputs and to track the logs as I'm driving. The ADD-ON zeitronix display is just that, an add-on. It was never meant to be a tool to allow you to review your logs and to tune with. A laptop is still needed for that. Its just nice to have it as a handy reference as to where the inputs are at corresponding to each other. Its a standard 2 line VFD display anyway. not a LCD or anything. Yet

I'll have a laptop to, you can do full screen gauge readouts on it w/ the new software.

I probably won't always keep the laptop in the car though for security reasons.

The peak and hold option on the external display will give you misleading results when trying to tune for egts and such.

Def tune on the laptop.

Save the display for the bling factor if you can find a nice spot to mount it.

How are the results misleading? Please elaborate...

I think I am going to buy the Zeitronix. I mainly need it for tuning purposes, but will still keep my regular gauges as a reference/comparison for now.

Im ditching my pillar guages and going with the Zeitronix. I have an email from Zeitronix showing different ways it could be mounted. Email me at onetrav@hotmail.com and Ill forward it to you. I think I might go with a aftermarket deck and then mount mine just below it. Or I might make a set up in the center vent.
