sorry if this is in the wrong place, seemed right to me. i recently bought a high flow cat off of egay, and i went to put it on when it got here and it wouldnt fit. I am a pretty much stock NT, and the pic in the auction showed the flanges on the cat to be offset from each other. the one i received the flanges are straight on, no offset from each other. all the ones ive seen for the NT model, were exactly like the pic in the auction showed, offset and the ones for the turbo were straight like the one i received. so i emailed the guy, and told him they sent me the wrong part, and i would like it taken care of ASAP. well after a few days of back and forth this guy is now telling me the cat's are the same on both models, and its not their problem. am i right and he's wrong, or is he right, and i should feel like and idiot? either way, it still wont bolt up, unless someone has found a easy way to twist stainless. any help you guys could provide will be very appreciated. TIA.

Turbos and NT use different cats. That's b.s. and you should file a complaint asap.

no you are right, our flanges are offset. Take a pict of your car next to your car and send it to him then file a paypal complaint and credit card complaint. if you paid with paypal and CC, if you didnt consider this your learning situation.

if your totally screwwed i guess you can just take it to a muffler shop and ask them to reweld it and request no receipt! This way they will do it for you, some shops will not because technically it can be considered illegal in some states.
