I thought this thing was a scam for sure so many times but it eventually came after about three weeks. I got it for 2 grand. But I still need a BOV and downpipe ( check sale/wanted section). I was hoping to get started this weekend but without them I cant really get at it.

Also I hope Im not forgetting anything to change. Need premium ( gas prices are already killing me) new plugs/wires, change oil. I have air/fuel gauge, boost gauge, need egt still. When I get started on this I know im gonna have tons of questions so wish me luck. :D

good luck with the kit- have you done a compression test to get an idea of what shape your engine is in?

No i havent, I know I should have :wallbash. The engine pulls strong though, gives me knows problems, and has 63,000 miles, so I dont think it can be too bad. Plus I hardly ever drive it hard. Prob have never redlined it since ive had it.

Wait to install the egt bung untill you start to put the kit on the car. The bung has to be wleded into the manifold. Its alot easier to do with it not on the car. Also see if you can get your hands on a fuel pressure gauge.

I will have to look later on for the fuel pressure gauge. Where can I order a EGT bunge and cap for it, I might as well get this done while a have a flange welded for my bov.

When you order any autometer egt gauge it comes with all of the crap(bung). Best price I found so far was ptuning.com 150. If you cant afford that right know, seeing how you just baught a kit, contact conceptillusions.com they have them, if not try summit or something. For the flange, overboost.com and importperformanceparts.com have all flanges in the world.

Cant I just get the bung and put that in and then save for the EGT gauge itself??

Ok I just realized that I didnt recieve the external pump that comes with the Hahn kit, I got a Walbro intank pump instead. I was just wondering do I need the external pump for everything to run ok or just using this walbro pump be fine. Also is there a way to tell if its a 190 or a 255?

not sure about that pump situation. i used a walbro 255 intankback when i was stage 2, and still run it today as stage 5. with no other pump. alnyways, you dont need an egt bung, just drill and tap the 4th runner on the hrc manifold. its thick enought to do that. dont listen to bung boy up there.

Thats what I did, and its holding up wonderfully. No bung necessary.
