Does anyone know if RRE still sells the 8m x 1.25 manifold bolts for the 4g63 that fit our car as well? If so can someone give me the link to it on their site, because i cant seem to find them on the RRE site.

man you can get them anywhere. Go to your local Parts Source or something and you can find 8mm x 1.25 studs, 40mm long. Or go to mcmastercarr and order the stainless steel ones off of there along with nuts and washers, and it will probably cost less.

They did have the stainless ones in 8m x 1.25 that i could find they only had them in steel. i want something that isnt going to rust.

Stainless steal isant as strong as steal, it lacks the iron for support, thus the stainless. Just though I would let you know. If you do want a SS that is strong try to get something thats 304 stainless, its lower grade SS b/c it has more iron in it than something like 316.

I wouldn't put it quite like that. Stainless steel has plenty of iron in it, ~65% depending on grade. Its the chromium content that defines it as "stainless". The defining characteristic between 304 and 316 is the molybdenum content. That gives 316 greater resistance to certain types of corrosion. I think you'll find that 304 has similar tensile and yeild strengths to comparably heat treated 316. In any case, about any common stainless fastener will be suitable for this. I used plain old hardware store stainless studs on my head without issue. On my latest head, I opted to use (8) of the factory 420A manifold studs instead of bolts. They are mild steel, but have a black oxide coating. It is pretty durable.

The washers that I listed are not lock washers.

Holy shit is that a Supra wannabe rear bumper??? I thought I had seen everything.

Well i bought some studs off of mcmaster. com and they should be coming in the mail today. I also bought some serrated lock washers and locking nuts from the local bolt and nut shop. So it looks like this weekend I will be ripping everything apart and replacing with all the new stuff.

the rear bumper and hatch are all custom. no store bought shit here.
