not really sure if this is the right spot to ask this but the little hose that comes off the intake near the manifold and goes into the valve cover that people put those little filters on should i get one of those filters since i'm boosted or is it ok for whatever that is to see positive pressure from the intake pipe...boy do i feel dumb

I think you are refering to your pcv valve and line. You do not want to put breather filters on these regardless if your non turbo or turbo. You want to keep the pcv filter and hoses or get an oil catch can. The only thing you can put a breather on is the line that runs from the valve cover to the intake pipe.

^^^this is the line i was wondering about i didn't know if i needed a breather or if it was ok the way it was

Put a breather filter on the valve cover vent. Leave the PCV alone.
