i have a TDO5H turbo im using for my setup. its working great but i was just wondering how i can identify what it is. like 14g , 16g or 18g ? i know that turbo comes in them all. but all its says is tdo5h on it. there is some other numbers but nothing to do with the 16g or anything.. anyone know?

check and see if the vanes on the compressor wheel are all the same (which would mean its a 14B) or staggered, one high next one low (which would mean its a 16G). I think. I'm pretty sure its the compressor wheel, anyway.

do the other numbers mean anything or are they just serial numbers? theres got to be a solid way to tell what turbo it is.

it should say it on there.... EDIT: you could measure the inducer vs exducer diameters and compare them to known turbos

tdo5h can be many different turbo's. 14b, 14g, 16g, super 16g, 17c, 19c, 20g-(20g came in 05 and 06 housings).
Take the numbers on the housing and try to search them on the net to find out for sure.
there are so many versions made today depending on the application its not funny
