well i got my car back on the road but its flooding out like a bitch. I think its prolly because of my walbro fuel pump and no regulator. its been a while sense i drove it or messed with the fuel, do i set the fuel pressure to 43.5 psi with the aeromotive 1:1? i just want the car to run stock until my break in is over with.

My second question is im installing megasquirt as soon as my break in is over with. Im having my exhaust finished tommorrow. is there a need for my stock 02 sensors anymore? im going to be running a wideband of course. My theory is no but i just want to make sure.

not sure, but don't you have to wire your MS to your sensors? :shrug

Your Wideband 02 unit should have a simulated narrowband output on it which you can feed to the stock ecu in place of the stock O2 sensor. People have mixed feelings about how well this works from what Ive read on some forums. Since you are having an exhaust done up, why not just have an extra bung welded in for the wideband sensor and keep the stocker feeding the stock ecu. If that doesnt work out then you can always just buy an o2 bung plug.

i see what your saying but isnt that kind of pointless. i mean your o2 sensor is so your stock ecu can adjust your fuel and air mixture correctly right? but if megasquirt is going to do that then i dont see why the ecu would still need it. but just incase i guess i should get it done

the stock ecu can also throw up a bunch of codes, retard itself, do all sorts of things to the idle, etc. Unless you are running totally off the MS or running MSnS then it still needs to see it.
