88047, HELP VORTECH SFMU adapter kit

I searched but no results, has anyone actually gotten the adapter kit for the vortech sfmu to use -4an lines, i was just wondering if you took the fittings off of the sfmu and replaced them with the ones from the kit that's how it looks in this diagram, http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=82
but i want to make sure that i don't throw $250 down the toilet by attempting to take the fittings off that come on the sfmu

looks like fitting is off the bottom in this picture from the return line writeup

There's no trick to changing the fittings. You just need to know to put nitrile orings on the new ones, and to cut off the flared section for the fitting that goes into the side port (you'll understand what I'm talking about when you take your stock ones off).

or simply buy a $3.00 brass 6AN to 4AN reducer fitting from your local hardware store. its a hell of a lot easier and cheaper too!
