87846, Oil Return on T3/T4?
Posted by Rondan97, Jul-10-05 04:19 AM
Hey guys. My name is Ron and I'm a professional 2GNT lurker. :P I have a 95 Avenger atx and I'm in the middle of installing a Star Stage 2 kit with parts and info that I mostly found on this site. Anyway , my concern is the oil return output on the turbo. I have a NPT barbed fitting screwed into it and when I mount the turbo, the fitting points directly towards the starter solenoid. There's about 1" between the end of the return fitting and the top of solenoid. I can get the hose on the fitting and bend it without it completely kinking but will I have any issues with the oil flow because of the sharp bend in the return hose? Should I try to find A 90 degree fitting or something or will be I fine the way I have it now? (BTW, this is the return hose and pipe from the Star kit)

TIA

So correct if I'm wrong... I can loosing the bolts around the compressor housing to clock the oil return output, then loosing the bolts around the oulet housing to rotate the that housing back to the original location? Kinda like a Rubix Cube, right? I just wanna make sure before I go unscrewing sh@t. Thanks
