After three years, I've finally turbo'ed the 2gnt.

It's a hahn stage two kit, with fmic. I have the greddy type-s bov, a sfmu, completely re-ran the entire fuel system with 3/8 aluminum hard lines. And it is fuggin sweet. Its so much faster now. Runs like it should with no problems too. The fuel system took me about 10 hours (getting that line through the sub-frame thing was a bitch). and then the turbo install the next day took another 10.

I used my own oil feed tee (home depot special), the custom fuel cut defender ($2.50 radio shack) and own oil drain (-6an bulkhead fitting to -6an ss hose). so some was a little custom.

I just got the missing link in today (dont even think i'm going to use it), and also the bleed valve for the sfmu.

I'm using a greddy 60mm warning gauge for boost, and have a matching egt gauge on the way.

Next thing i want to get is some kind of wb02. Has anyone had any experience with the greddy a/f gauge? i've read it has a "near high-band o2 sensor" included, what that means i'm unclear on.

The do it yourself fuel cut defender works like a charm, and the hahn downpipe blows balls.


Overall... boost kicks ass.



also.. i took a sledge to the cartech fmu just so i wouldnt get impatient and use it. probably should've sold it on ebay, but oh well. Payed 35$ to vortech for the bleed valve, then when i got it i saw that it really was the EXACT same bleed valve from the cartech. oh well.

sweet glad to hear more turbo 2gnts are around in MI. You should come to a meet in Grand Rapids or K-Zoo with us sometime.. BTW is your car red? (just a joke with the MI guys) Now the tuning is the fun part!

Jeez you should have sold the cartech on ebay! I let mine go for 125 plus I believe! Also, I wasn't aware greddy made wideband gauges. Are you sure it is a wideband? They do sell a narrow band gauge about $200.

Other than sounding like shit due to the clutch hub being fucked up, its holding up real well.

I'd post pics but i lost my web hosting a couple months ago, maybe i should check out broke-off.

I have an extra bleed valve if you want it aggression.

Fuckin A to that! I'd love to see some other boosted 420a setups in person. Congrats on the install too Will. I, along w/ a bunch of others, just got boost a couple weeks ago. Man, I'm loving all the 2gnt's getting boost this summer! :cheers

BOOST is amazing and fun, just be sure not to get out of hand with it, then you'll regret you ever had boost, lol :)
