Okay guys after searching for a hour, I want to know what is the tallest intercooler you can run without doing major hacking to the bumper and have piping similiar to the star IC setup? Running 3" downpipe and having 2.5" IC piping on the right side of Eclipse will be a hassle for fitment along with AC lines in the way.

get the star intercooler, it doesnt require any mods to the 95-96 bumper. I am almost positive it is 24" X 8" X 2.5. that is with end tanks.
The intercooler fits behind the impact bar so you could go with a 10" tall IC if you design the brackets a bit different.

Well thats the things, I do not want mess with that bracket. Nor I really don't want a core shorter than 10". So I guess the brackets will be ones to be hack on then.

WQhen i say brackets i mean the ic brackets NOT THE BUMPER. and i am corrected the star is about 10 inches. it will fill your bumper from top to bottom.
