Turbo is all but on. Ill be running 10psi responsibly until I can afford my internals. I def. want JE pistons and Eagle rods. Besides ebay where can I get the best deals?

Concept Illusions has Eagle rods for $305 I think. They have JE pistons for $499 but I believe they come with a set of rings too. Might want to call and ask on that one.

Howell's customer service sucks there is no doubt, but they are established, you should get your stuff between 4 and 12 weeks if you order from them.

PIstons without rings. From concept illusions picture, it looks like they include rings for $499. But you may want to call them on that. You really can't beat the price on the rods though.

Howells service sucks donky weiner. Exileracing.com has a compleat short block for 1800 just got to drop it in.

I've only used howell for my AFX pulley, but after that I wont order from them again. The pulley arived with the wrong ps/ac belt and was incredibly scratched up. Not that I care about looks of an underdrive pulley, but for the prices they charge I expect prompt shipping, shiny unscratched items, and the correct belts.

It took them 3 months to send me a tb. I will fight Gary Howell.
